Maple Bear is a Canadian-based international network of bilingual schools, and it has a global presence with over 550 schools in more than 30 countries. Maple Bear Casablanca is one of the six schools in Morocco that are part of this network, offering a trilingual education system (English, French, and Arabic), with English being the main language of instruction, particularly for subjects like math and science.

Maple Bear Casablanca Curriculum is a mix between the Canadian and Moroccan Curriculum. Arabic and French languages are taught to meet the needs of Moroccan society.

We give students time to get used to their new environment. We invite parents and children to a meeting with the school's teachers before classes start. For the youngest children, parents can stay for a few hours during the first classes, to ease the transition.

The school day runs from 8:30 am to 3:45 pm for kindergarten and from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm for primary.

If the child's test and the interview with the parents are conclusive, the enrolment file must be completed and sent to the management along with the documents required for registration on the school's digital platform. Registration is not final until the first fees have been paid.

The list of documents to be provided is indicated in the registration form. Incomplete applications may jeopardize acceptance.

A test for the student and an interview with the parents are mandatory. Access to advanced primary levels requires a basic knowledge of English.

Maple Bear Casablanca English language proficiency requirements vary depending on a student’s grade. No level of English is required for Nursery and Junior Kindergarten levels. A minimum knowledge of English is required for Senior Kindergarten. For access to primary classes, the test determines whether or not access is possible.

English immersion begins in early childhood, with a very few sessions a week of Arabic and French. From senior kindergarten onwards, Arabic and French are reinforced. Maple Bear Casablanca also offers a wide range of creative subjects such as art, theater, music, yoga, psychomotricity, gardening, computational thinking...

English is the main language of instruction. Maths and science are taught in English. Arabic and French play an important role at primary levels. The aim is to have perfectly trilingual children.

All levels of kindergarten are open. The 2024-2025 school year we'll open the fifth grade of primary school. Each year, the school will evolve by one level, up to Grade 6.

Class size is limited to 15 students, and a waiting list is set up as soon as this number is reached. It is advisable to apply for a place as early as possible.

We have whiteboards and interactive touchscreens from senior kindergarten onwards. Each kindergarten class has a computer equipped with a hi-fi system for listening to songs. The computer room is reserved for introduction to computers and computational thinking.

The school does not have the resources to accommodate children with special needs.

School year usually starts the first week of september and ends the last week of june. Semestre 1 : From the first week of September to the last week of january Semestre 2 :From the first week of february to the last week of june.

Our students come from about 10 nations but most of them are Moroccans. this diversity of origins contributes to the richness of our exchanges.

Maple Bear Casablanca offers English immersion for children aged 2 to 5. French and Arabic then form an important part of the general program. Maple Bear Casablanca also offers additional languages after school as part of the paid extra-curricular activities programme.

All courses follow an academic year that begins the first week of september and ends in june. The calendar for each academic year provides information on the exact start and end dates, as well as the scheduled vacations and public holidays. students attend school 5 days per week (Monday to Friday). There is no class on wednesday after noon.

Yes, Maple Bear Casablanca have a school bus to provide door-to-door bus transportation for our students. The route is defined at the start of each school year according to parents' requests. The route is limited to areas close to the school. For more information, contact the administration.

The school caterer provides hot meals in our canteen. Families can also opt for the 'garde-repas' service. The price of lunch and the 'Garde-repas' service are not included in the school fees. Parents are responsible for morning and afternoon snacks.

Childcare is provided from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

English, math and science books are provided by Maple Bear Casablanca. Their cost is included in the school fees. The list of other supplies not covered is communicated at the beginning of each school year.

Yes, all teachers at Maple Bear Casablanca are qualified. They have prior teaching experience and are regularly trainined from Maple Bear Global Schools by Canadian teaching experts.

Students are expected to attend school at all times unless excused by their parents or caregivers appointed by their parents. The minimum attendance requirement for all students is 90%. Please refer to the internal regulations

Tuition fees can be paid directly to the administration, by cheque or bank transfer.

The first enrolment fee and the annual enrolment fee are due on submission of the enrolment form. The first instalment, covering schooling from september to december, is paid at the start of the school year. The second instalment is paid before 20/01. The third instalment is paid by 04/20.
